Maribel Flores Aquino is an independent Photojournalist born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Flores, who holds a Master’s in Media Writing from University of Sagrado Corazón but always shown interest Photojournalist. In 2017 the member of National Press Photographers(NPPA) moves to Spain to develop her career as a Photojournalist. Flores continues her studies at Centro Internacional de Fotografia Cine(EFTI) in Madrid. She develops her Photographic project “Isis of Traces of Terror” A photojournalistic coverage that grands her the opportunity to travel to cities such as Barcelona,Manchester and Nice,France, places that have suffered terrorist attacks. (EFTI) This project became a chance for her to launch her career as an independent Photojournalist, to make collaborations with other news agencies and publications of the work she has done. Currently, the photojournalist continues doing news coverage of terrorist attacks and the migrant polemic.As an editor, she developed the project international News Coverage. The editor and certified broadcaster conducted interviews of War Correspondents and Special Envoys of Spain and Puerto Rico. Among the interviewed are Spanish Journalists such as Ramón Lobo, Tomas Alcoverro, Evaristo Canete and the Vice President of the Association of Journalists of Spain, Aurelio Martín. Besides Spanish Journalists, Carmen Jovet, José Esteves, Luz Nereida Vélez and Ada Torres Toro are many of the well-known Puerto Rican Journalists who took part of this project.
